There was an art competition at school. The winner gets to go stay with mayor of Australia for 3 weeks. Rafe comes across these animals called drop bears. Rafe makes some friends called "the outsiders". They all become friends and even pull and prank at the end. Ellie (one of the outsiders) and Rafe still send emails to each other once Rafe left.
I think this was a pretty interesting book but, if you want to get this book you will have to go to the Hastings District Library because, this book is not at our school library. I think I would rate this book 9/10
