clary's mother gets kidnapped and Jason finds clary and helps her Jason knows about her mother being a shadow hunter so he has to tell clary. clarys finds out because the tattoos on Jason's body. while Jason  Clary and Simon find clarys mother she start to have memories showing up in her mind so she goes to the City Of Bones to uncover her hidden memories but when she goes in theirs every single skull of the fallen shadow hunters. but there was a block in clary's mind which means only the person who put it there could take it back. as clary was drawing symbols she puts her cup of tea onto her book but then realizes that her tea was actually inside the book like a printed piece of paper.soon she finds out were they put her mother and where the cup of the gods is. Madam Dorothea has cards that clarys mum painted but one of them has the ace of cups which is a painting of the cup of the gods clary slowly reaches into the cup and feels something she pulls it out a out came the original cup of the gods.and now a demons and shadow hunters that betrayed each other is after clary ,Jason and Simon alongside with Jason's  team and all together they fight against  the bad and bring clarys mum back.

This book is about this 12 year old boy called Tony whos been traveling with his Mum (Christine) to find a place to settle.
when they arrive to Charlstone, a gold mining ghost town Christine finds a job. So they choose to stay there for the summer.
Tony meets lots of nice people like, Betty, Lofty, Fred, Jamie Duggan, Nick and of course Rose who is also staying in Charlston for the summer.
In a strange ghost towm yo obviously expect strange things to happen like Toney staying in an old and rusty caravan, then all of a sudden he's seeing things like ghost, rats, possems, and even weka rumeging around in Tonys caravan and wreking everything when the door was shut closed.
In the end Tony and Rose relises it was Jamie Duggan. He has been doing it because of his wife who died years ago, abd he can't coltroll himself. Duggan has also been collecting urainum from the mine (The mine is called Frog Whistle Mine).
In the real end after the earthquake that struck on new years day, Christine and Niick decide to get married and Tonys life changes.

I really enjoyed this book and it really interested me and I could easly pictur what was going on in my head. I rate this book a 10/10.

Fly Away Home By Patricia Hermes.

This story is about a Father and his daughter, Amy, who found a nest of goose eggs.
She brought them home and helped them to hatch. When the goose hatched they thought Amy waqs their Mother so they followed and coppied her.
But the goose cound not stay with her forever as winter was comming and they needed to migrate. How ever, they dodn't know how to fly. Then Amy and her Father take on responsibility to teach them to fly and help them to migrate frrom Canada to North Carolina.

I really enjoyed this book and picturing it in my head wasn't that hard to do. I woyld have to rate this book a 8/10.
 

The Miraculouse Journey of Edward rabbit. Genre - Mystery

In this book there was a china rabbit called Edward who was loved by a little girl called Abilene.

One day when Abilenes family went on a cruise ship, Edward was throwen into the sea and was lost.

About 1 year later he was rescued by a fisherman. Edward was also burried under garbage, unburried by a dog, he travled for a long time with a hoboe and acted as a scarcrow for a while. the rabbit was loved by a little girl who died and danced on the streets for money. he also stayed in a shop for a long time until someone baught him.  Her name was Abilene, Edwards first owner.

This book was really interesting and I could easly picture what was happening. I rate this book a 9/10 because I really enjoyed it.

The amaising adventures of Captain underpants /genre - fantasy

This book is about two boys named gorge and Harold they are always getting in to mischief they keep pulling pranks cracking jokes and making fun of people but one of there pranks turned there principle in to a hero that they made up and that hero's name is captain underpants and ever since then captain underpants has been fighting crime and bringing and putting them to justice I love comic books like these so I give it a 8/10

This book is about a boy named Greg hefley and he has been ditched by his best friend named Rowley because of a girl named abigale and Greg is having hard luck trying to find a new friend and he's had bad luck ever since then ide rate this book a 5/10 because I don't realy like drama books

This is a story about how light came to Aotearoa in the beginning there were rangi and papatuanuku and there children tū,Tane, tawhirimatea,tangaroa,haumia and rongo they were tired of being cramped in the darkness so Tane pushed them apart and that's how light came to Aotearoa I love these kind of books so I give it a 9/10

This book is about a boy namdid Maui him and his brothers made strong rope out of flax and went to where the sun rose when the sun rose Maui and his brothers caught the sun in the rope and threatend and demanded that the sun traveled slower this book is a known legend and I give this book a 7/10 because it was a very short book but very detailed
